lets start off with the main character

THE KID

• since i'm already used to sketching his face,I finally went in and done the final character design,it's getting serious to where i'm thinking I need a page where I can see all perspectives and camara angles on this character,this is the 1st character development,well besides Princess character,but the main design for him before any other characters,he is the main character,and he must be 1st...anyways,below is the final look and design I came up with..just added his name and design style

• since now i've got his character design done,its time to get more into it now,let's get some poster styles and idea on how it'll look like if I was going to promote and showcase the main character...that was my thought process,and I came up with this one,I could'nt find the original sketch,so I just found the 1st design,no background,no special wallpaper design look,just a simple page look,here it is...his 1st Poster

KID GRAFF "the kid"

• The Kid trying out his new found powers to perform his skateboard flying stunt
• From that,comes a control panel which brings him lazers that comes from the tires

(nothing to do with the Comic Series TAGGERS (Alpha Burners)but in some case it does,I am one of the supported characters,and well I wanted to create a tag ,and easy throw-up piece for me.With that said,I looked into a simple catch phrase like all graffiti writers(artists)does...get a name that represents you and what your all about...so I came up with THE APEX 1 CHARACTER :(my definition )of it..is on top of things basicly,no matter what I do,I want to be the best at it and be on top,I consider myself the Apex Predator,I will hunt down the top artist and dominate the game showcasing my skills....basicly I want to be the best there is,an Apex character is someone who will be the best of the best and will shoot for the top without question,leaving me THE APEX 1

...Flick , the last member of the Taggers(Alpha Burners)Crew ,a photographer and model,in this scene he is chillin by his dragon car with his dragon camara taking good pictures of Kid Graff(the kid)flying by,with such eyes of a dragon,he can see long-distance and can pretty much tell whats going on from a far away,so he waits for his moment to catch a Flick Pic of the main star ,trying out his new ability ..Flick is all about pictures

...oh yea,basicly FLICK'S power and abilities is that with his camara which is a dragon,that camara turns into,transforms into a flying dragon , giving the character a full dragon / sky view point and perspective of the subjects of picture taking.He has eyes on the ground(himself)but with his power he can control his flying dragon camara,and it follows the action movements of the main characters...such like this,Kid Graff is flying at rapid speed,but the dragon camara catches up 

with him snapping flicks(pictures)in motion...

• The Kid(Kid Graff)at this point now,i'm thinking of what and how am I going to create the main character Burner name/logo design.this is the 1st sketch really of me trying to tag,of a simple Throw-Up...shit I think my 1st Throw-Up for this character or any other character really...

" it sucks,but I wanted it to be as simple as possible,so people can read it,plus I wanted to focus on him,The Kid just using his Aerosol Can and a simple sketch doing so....but yea,this is the 1st character Throw Up ive done of any characters...Kid Graff the hero and star of the comic,might as well sketch em 1st yanno? "

(( this sketch was edit and cut up for the CLOSE-UP shot of what how she comes into interacting with her Aerosol Can...the can turns into a microphone,yes she sings and loves to perform,also Princess is a well trained mixed martial artist who is a bad ass,shes girly but of a tomboy,a pretty action singer i guess.So yea,her mic(Aerosol Can)transforms into weapons,such as Spears,Swords,Daggers,any long range or short range weapon....and her backstory,her super power is with Magic,comes from a long line of wizards ,)

The Princess , this is a ruff-sketch of her face ,turn-around page and action page,how she'd be like if she was at a different angle ,(below sketch)on how she would perform and act in a fight,or even look like with a full-body shot(action poses)

.....,it was kinda fun and then by the time I knew it,I ended up with at least 3 to 4 pages of sketches from her,and it was cool but I needed to focus on other characters...but yea,she was 1st character i've actually worked on for awhile...

FRIDAY & SATURDAY, ' AUG ' 10th & 11th day of ' 2012

Ruff-Sketch look of him and his low-rider turned giant fighting robot

(think of Real Steel the movie)

with his controller,i thought of playstation,he is a kid,and kids love to play games,well yea in this situation he is controlling his low-rider car,and with the Aerosol Can ,gives him his potential ability to transform his car into this fighting robot...haven't gave him fighting scenes yet,but I know he is a bad ass robot.

•  KID GRAFF ( the kid ) ACTION  "BURNER PIECE" scene (ruff-sketch look)...

...basicly everytime when The Kid burns ,well put up his Throw-Up Burner piece on the wall,his powers are summoned ,and it's what he loves to do best,is Skateboard,so that board comes to life and flies by him,waiting for instructions or control...of course Kid Graff is shocked to see this...

 SNEAKS " Burner Piece "...with him,he loves sneakers,so I put b-boi shoes ,coming from the wall to make him have the speed ability,he is a Glider(roller blader)so it enhances his ability to pretty much run and glide fast,from that comes his rocket booster shoes,but it starts off with a simple Burner(ruff sketch scene)

 DEUCE " Burner Piece " ,everytime when he puts up his Throw Up art,comes forth his low-rider car,transforming into a robot / android of a car...with androids,they can be looked like humans with emotions,just a robot attitude,not knowing if its real or not , but of course an android know that he is not human,but still an android is some what like real then a robot I think..so yea,this transformer is kinda like the movie Transformers,real enough to kick ass and can talk like you and me...this robot is such that

THE KID challenges b-boi SNEAK$ to a break dance battle ,from this comes friendship and Garffiti Duo,also The Kid works at the Skateboard shop like 5minutes away from this scene,so on his break time and on the way to work,he likes watching performers and action in motion...with him is his skateboard,never leave home without .He has a bakpak full of Canners on them,the last scene is where Sneak$ is collecting his purse(his CASH)that he made that day...then Kid Graff challenges him to a B-Boi battle :

• to perform his abilities of flight and speed 

He is like ironman ,with his rocket booster /weapon in his shoes,thats why we call him Sneaks,he loves sneakers soooo much,who would've thought it becomes him,so the Aerosol can gives him his potential power of what he likes the most..now he can fly ...also he is a Roller Skater (GLIDER),so that gives him of complete ground control and now he has flight control from his rocket shoes(his power)

 " CANNERS " the main 7 Aerosol Cans , from the main 7 characters of
 " TAGGERS "...Chonga and Crapulous characters are the main characters but just behind the scenes and supporters of  the crew,but I still did they're Canners for them tho...so yea,basicly behind the storyline,Canners are the other half personality and characteristics of the heroes...example Kid Graff ,happy and full of life,his Canner(the 1st can)is serious and loves to destroy and always seem with a angry face,sooo serious,but that gives Kid Graff a serious attitude and real like..its like you can be funny and love life,but life is a serious matter and sometimes ya gotta be serious to get where your headed in the game,instead of fooling around...so all these Canners are serious and really mean business ,they all about reality and its time to kick ass

(( then later,after this sketch,yea I pretty much just stopped working on the Canner characters and put it on hold for awhile,and worked on Taggers,again I was working with both comic series at the time,but I wanted to focus mainly on The Taggers storyline 1st...so thats why on the same day I created both comic book cover designs ))

KID GRAFF scene, after school and before he meets his canner or any other characters,he watches someone in the background taggin up on the wall,i still haven't figured out what character is that,I think i'll just add myself ,but he is an artist and a mysterious character ,later will reveal himself to the world..but leaves clues on the school walls .."Brighter Side"is the song I was listening to while sketching,and that is the main Comic Book title song...oh ,and also below ,Kid Graff comes to see Sneaks break dancing on Venice Beach

"the 1st sketch scene of his story and series..basicly whats going on is The Kid coming from school,just walking along the sidewalk ,ready to go start bombing of the turf looking for somewhere at least,then reaching his Aerosol can from his bacpak,comes flying in front of his face is a active talking can.He is shocked but not as much freaked out like..just confused and like "what the fu??"expression.Basicly its a test of skill and potential challenge,the Canner is smart and knows his shit,so he wants to see if the hands of The Kid has what it takes to control and use him to his benefit,seconds later,The Kid finds the will power to control him and then to use it's powers to fly off,yea he loves skating and from that comes flying,kinda like silver surfer type of flying "

..."i've got rid of Wane ,because if you look up the Graffiti name of him,lol...it really means pervert or your wang,your private part from a male..lol,and since i'm doing a kid / teenager comic book story,it would be pretty much inappropiate for a perverted young white man adult to be flirting with women,so I got rid of Wane,sorry buddy ,but it is what it is..I'll feature him later in Canners comic book series,but not for Taggers...and Poe Was,all these names comes/originated from Graffiti Slang names(look em up)..anyways,Poe Was is suppose to be an old friend or buddy..."OLD"..so i thought of an old man..he is the master and comic book owner...with Bo$$ lady,i wanted another female character,so I sketched her,a chick who is bad ass and pretty..shes asian(chinese american)who pretty much is now they're owner,well Boss and manager...she and Poe Was are the owners of the Taggers Crew"

KID  GRAFF (1st final character sketch )" I liked this sketch , but the hero and main star should'nt look sooo much evil and bad ass,he is a bad ass,but I wanted him also to be a happy and friendly kid...so I switched it and sketched another look later on.Only when he gets angry he looks like this,but this sketch is my 1st final look of how he turn out 2 be"

" Princess 1st and final character development ,before this is how she looked ,happy,always smiling and full of energy ,bigger lips,bigger eyes and a afro puff on the hair...I took this and sketched another pic of her later,making her older and more mature...I began with Kid Graff and Princess to be a kid,like around the ages or 12 or 13 to go the younger audience,but then thought it would be better to make them a bit older.Also i'm starting out to make them Manga characters and less Toon Style,so that was a big change for me,so I chaged her up..but this sketch is where it all started."

• began sketching " The Canners "comic series of characters from this sketch comes a whole bunch of other characters under them.Canners is the 1st series of many series to come,from Canners comes Taggers (Alpha Burners)...I wanted it all to start with the Aerosol Cans and how The Taggers came to be and how they got they're special powers...but then thought to myself,maybe I can just show some of the Canners characters in the Tagger Comic Book series to slowly introduce them ,then when we know about Taggers the main characters we will get to know the Canners ,a prequel I guess and backstory.So I put the Canner comic book series on hold ,until I get Taggers(Alpha Burners)out first...then comes The Element (the trilogy)comic series later...but I 1st started off with these Canners:

" kinda like doing 2 stories at a time,Canners and Taggers...at this point i'm just sketching the character designs and small storylines for the main characters,putting those characters with The Canners,matching both of em up at the same time so I won't forget about nobody.Multi-Tasking I guess ,and so I sketched this pic

Just getting started ...

I've always had a skill and inspiration for Graffiti ,anything I put my mind to , I believe I can do it ,and well now that I came up with a great idea of a comic book ,I will begin and won't stop till I finished it and just will enjoy the journey on where it'll take me.See how far I can go with it.
